OK, so here's my 'a-ha' moment from the other morning. I was putting on my armor, and when I got to the shoes of peace, I realized another reason they're 'of peace'. I've always looked at it like we're supposed to be peaceful with each other, so those shoes help to give us a spirit of peace. I've just now realized that, when our footsteps are walking the path that God is leading us down, we will be walking in peace! Our hearts will be settled that, regardless of circumstances, God's got it taken care of! Love my enlightenments :)
