I don't know about you, but I'm a dreamer. Always have been. I never could understand how people can go through life without dreaming, their only companion the harsh reality that surrounds them. If I couldn't dream, I think I'd be pretty desolate! I thought about dreams in relation to the hope that I have in the Lord and how the hope itself spurs the dreams. Then, it occurred to me that this world has gotten us so jaded that people can't even believe in the dream anymore! The expression "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" has gotten way too much of a hold on us. Remember, God IS goodness, and He has a hope and a future planned for each of us! So, the next time you hear, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is," tell the whisperer that God is good, and His Word is true!
