Become a Better Performer. Connect With Your Audience.
Being a good performer is about more than having a good voice.
It's about knowing how to connect with the people in front of you, communicate a song or message, use the microphone effectively, handle the unexpected, and make an audience feel like you're singing to them rather than simply singing at them.
After more than 21 years of ministry and thousands of hours onstage - including more than 300 performances at Biblical Times Dinner Theater in Pigeon Forge - I’ve learned a lot about what makes a performance work.
And I've learned just as much from the performances that didn't go exactly as planned. 🤭
Fifteen or so years ago, the Lord planted this idea in my mind - and even gave me the name for it. I hadn't thought much about it, since. Then, a few months ago, it came back to me. I didn't know it at the time, but the Lord was preparing me for this.
Practical Training From the Stage
Personal Delivery Performance Development is designed to help singers, musicians, speakers, and other performers become more confident, engaging, and effective onstage.
We'll look at the things that can make the difference between simply getting through a performance and truly connecting with an audience.
Topics may include:
- Stage presence and confidence
- Connecting with your audience
- Microphone technique
- Using your voice effectively
- Song selection and presentation
- Working a stage instead of standing in one spot
- Communicating emotion and meaning
- Handling mistakes and unexpected moments
- Developing a natural, authentic performance style
- Preparing for different types of audiences and venues
The goal isn't to turn you into somebody else.
It's to help you become a better version of the performer you already are.
One-on-One or Group Training
Personal Delivery Performance Development can be tailored to fit the need.
That might mean individual coaching, a small-group session, a workshop for a church or ministry, or a customized training session for a larger group.
Whether you're just getting started or you've been performing for years, there's always something new to learn, and something that can make your next performance better.
Let's Work on It Together
If you're ready to become more confident onstage, strengthen your connection with your audience, and develop a performance that feels natural and authentic to you, let's talk.
You bring the talent. I'll help you develop the tools to share it.
Songwriting Sessions
Have a song idea that's been sitting in your head or a lyric that isn't quite finished yet?
Songwriting sessions are also available for those who would like a little guidance developing an idea, strengthening lyrics, working through a melody, or simply having another creative ear in the room.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never written or you've been writing for years, sometimes a fresh perspective is all it takes to move a song forward.
Songwriting sessions are available by request.

Many thanks to these two special people for their recommendations! As Tammy included, she is the SGMA Executive Director and my friend ☺️ Garry didn't include anything, but he is a tenor extraordinaire, best known for his time with The Kingsmen ("He's All I Need") and Perfect Heart. He is also an accomplished songwriter…and my friend.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Tori both personally and professionally, and I can honestly say she is someone who brings out the very best in people!
Tori is incredibly talented and genuine. Having seen her perform, I’ve witnessed firsthand her ability to connect with an audience. She has a natural ability to make people feel encouraged, confident and believe in themselves.
I believe Tori is stepping into this new chapter because she is following her calling from The Lord. Her talent, experience, and genuine desire to help others make this such a natural fit for her. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Tori will not only benefit from her knowledge and experience, but have more confidence in who they are and what they are capable of.
I have no doubt that she will be a blessing to the people she coaches!
Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
Blessings,
Tammy Rice

Hi Everyone,
I want to share some exciting news about a new venture a friend of mine is undertaking. Tori Gay is launching her own business specializing in performance coaching. She can also help with songwriting.
I have had the pleasure of writing songs with Tori at the Charles Novell School of Music and watching her perform there. She also entertained crowds as a character in Dollywood’s Parade of Many Colors for 4 years and the Biblical Times Dinner Theater for 4 seasons, where her talent and performance grew to meet professional standards.
If you are interested in learning how to do more than just sing, I highly encourage you to connect with her. She is fully qualified to help you with your stage performance or crafting a song.
Tori is ready to help you get started, so please feel free to give her a call.
Best Regards,
Garry Sheppard
